In this Introduction to Meditation, you will be guided through:

  • Physiological Benefits

    Discover the multi-fold effects of meditation on the body’s systems and productivity, including:

    • left and right hemispheres of the brain come into balance, aligning your creative and rational faculties

    • attention span and ability to focus increase

    • brainwave activity drops into theta-wave frequency, the place where creativity and rejuvenation lies

    • more oxygen enters the blood stream as the breath deepens, clearing toxins with ease

    • stress levels drop, reducing heart rate, cortisol levels, and blood pressure as the body enters a rest-and-digest state

    • responding replaces reacting to situations and experiences

  • Breathwork

Train the noisy mind and build awareness of the body as your focus shifts to the breath. The slower and deeper the rhythm of your breath, the more space between your thoughts, the deeper the meditation and the greater the benefits.
Harness the power of the breath to access a place of stillness and quiet. Increase awareness of sensations in your body – tension or stiffness, tingling or calm, and learn how to use your breath to reduce stress and return easily and rapidly to a state of calm centeredness.

  • Guided Meditation (aka Creative Visualization)

Guided meditation/creative visualization is a perfect tool for planning and goal-setting (remember the Chicago Bulls’ three-peat and the Lakers’ championships? All thanks to a practice of mindfulness and creative visualization).
Guided meditation is also a perfect tool to access a deep state of inner peace – a place of rest and rejuvenation, where the outside world and its stresses recede and effortlessly fade away. Experience calm relaxation by following a spoken narrative as you allow your imagination to fill in the imagery.
If you are in the slightest bit confused or unsure about using your imagination during a guided meditation, try this experience.

For Corporates: We suggest a minimum of 8 sessions to really integrate positive change.
Subsequent meditation sessions will draw upon these introductory techniques as we deepen our practice and understanding, integrate the benefits, and learn how to bring mediation into everyday life.
